Not sure how much I've discussed this here, but a Gibson SG has been number one on my favorite guitar list (and must have list) since I started playing. I guess I've seen Angus play one too many times. :)
Well, last night I added one to my collection. I started hearing about the Gibson Guitar of the Week and then I saw the SG in Silverburst. Man what a beautiful finish! So here is the nicest looking SG (IMO) around and a limited run of 400. Cool, until I start looking around online for them and they are already scarce. Actually, most online places I could find had already sold out. On a whim I call my local shop and they had just gotten one in (had literally just come off the truck). They put my name on it and I played it and got it after work (with approval from the wife of course).
Sweet, sweet tones and it plays like a dream! First guitar I've owned with an ebony board too. I'm a very happy camper! :)

I had recorded part of the Dry County jam I'm in with my Epi LP, but will be re-recording it using this baby. I just can't help myself. :)

NIIIIICE. I love SG's and always thought that white was the absolute best colour they could possibly come in. That seriously gives white a run for it's money though. Great purchase fella.

Crank, i'm sincerely jealous! I've always been an SG fan, and finally got one in natural burst several months ago. I love it and thought I'd never part with it. But after looking at the Gibson site last week and seeing the silverburst, i'm not so sure anymore. Congrats!!
