It is cool looking!

I couldn't resist the name "Snarling Dog Brain Picks With Cat Tongue Grip!" Those folks have a way with words! They won't slip, either.

these are among my current faves -- though I would like something thicker/stiffer than the max I can find (orange version)

Yep, I tried the Snarling Dog orange (the thickest they make) and they work OK

but I wanted something with more thickness too.

It's the rock that gives the stream its music . . . and the stream that gives the rock its roll.

In the spirit of Dr. Seuss . . .

“Have you tried a brick?” you say.
Why . . . yes I have, Mr. Ricochet

When I strummed fast on the strings
I found it hard to make the swings

The brick went flying from my hand
And eventually was grated into sand

I'm sorry to tell you it left a scar
On my Ibanez GAX guitar

So no more will I use a crumby Brick
Instead I'll try a pretty stone as my Pick

I use the black "Brain" picks......

I'd definately go out of my way for them.....

That's all I use now.

There are lots of different styles of picks the guitarist use. But, for me.... I rather learn how to hold any pick correctly in order for me to change any pick I like to.

Here is the useful article I found...

I thought I would follow up on “New guitar pick”.
I've had it a few days and it is pretty . . .
It has a bright sound to it . . . but also a little squeaky . . . you could duplicate the sound by using glass I suppose.
And the one I got has veins in it and every once in a while a vein will catch on a string . . .
not enough to throw me off beat . . . and listening you wouldn't be able to tell but I could feel it catch.
It's not exactly what I was hoping for . . . I would like to find a material that is somewhere in between a plastic pick (which makes a flapping noise) and stone which apparently has a squeaky sound . . .
I wonder if plexiglass would work . . .
Anyway that's my show and tell . . .
Here's the picture with the case it came in, another pick, and a quarter for size comparison.

It's the rock that gives the stream its music . . . and the stream that gives the rock its roll.

Rub it down with a little oil and I'll bet it doesn't squeak. Might shoot out of your fingers like a watermelon seed, of course.
