Pedals

S i just tied out a friends micro terror amp and i found it to be really good given the price and size. So im thinking about getting one, but i want a bit more of distortion given that i play alot of metal. I was thinking about getting a used one in good condition, (by the way im 17 and i dont have alot of money to spend.) and with the money i save, get a pedal to compensate for the distortion. I would get a micro dark but again im keep the micro terror tone with and also have a more metal tone as well. So i was thinking about getting a Ibanez Tube Screamer, but i was thining, should i get the tube screamer for a little more, (i know its not that expensive but again, i dont have alot of money) or get a cheaper overdrive/distortion pedal. Ive heard the BEHRINGER pedals are cheaper yet actually better than the boss pedals, but i dont really know so what you guys think. Im not really good with pedals.
