Hi ,

Was just listening to pink floyd's Shine on you crazy diamond , Coming back to life ...etc and have been wondering how do they get that guitar sound , which appears to be more than heavenly , out of this world , surfing into another realm and so on ....

Is it an effect ( like reverb or chorus ) or is it because of a fender strat ?

I would be looking for this sound in an electric guitar.So how do they get it ? (don't i have to ask pigs really :lol: )

All suggestions or speculations welcome ...hey , after all , it is pink floyd :D

Hi Rahul

Google "Dave Gilmour Guitar Set up" and you'll get a few hits worth reading.

You may also get a big GAS attack..............
