I woke up to the news that BB King has passed away. I saw him play a few times, once in the Mid 70's when "The Thrill Is Gone" was a number one record. This was at Summerfest in Milwaukee and a great show.
The last time I saw him was about 2 years ago. He sat on a chair the whole time but played his heart out. He played many of his hits but the most memorable song that night was "See That My Grave Is Kept Clean.
A sad loss. This from the BBC

I never got to see BB KIng but I've heard a lot of his blues music growing up. He was an amazing artist. We've lost another great musician.
