Gee, what an interesting day for me. I got kicked out of a music store, insturments that is. All I was doing was trying out a Dean electric guitar. I didn't say nothing, do nothing wrong. Could it because someone else wanted to try a guitar and how small the store was!?!
The weirdest thing is one of the employees turned the amp off (which wasn't loud at all) and took the guitar out of my hand. I didn't know how to feel, upset, mad, or laugh it off. Seemed rude though.
Any thoughts?
:?

You weren't playing Smoke on the Water were you?

Find out if they work on commision, go in, pick up the most expensive guitar in the store, play it until the store closes, tell them you need a little more time and they'll probably keep the shop open in hopes you'll buy the guitar. Then buy a set of strings and walk out.

I wasn't even playing Stairway to Heaven. The employee (sp) or owner for that matter took it away when I was playing the Top Gun Anthem, didn't even get to the solo.
The shop right next door that I go to for lessons and gear is great. Pick a guitar and you're on your own. Probably why I bought 3 guitars and an amp from them.

We have a fender dealer here like that, you would think thay are doing you a favor leting you try out a guitar  That must be why i buy my guitars at Woodys music on the other end of town.--the dog
This shop/store/dealer is sort of higher up mom and pop store I guess. Mainly deals in pianos, accordions, and rentals. I posted on another site that the owner is into ripping off parents and kids with rentals. Pay more to rent an insturment then to buy it. Scum. I had questions about the Dean guitar, but nobody knew much. Pretty stupid isn't it!?!
The store I go to is Todd's Guitar's Etc. The other place isn't worth it to mention.

There's two sides to every story and, not sound ignorant, but I'd have crowned the jackass with his precious guitar. There's no excuse for that; you're a potential paying customer.
