bish,
Seriously that's the one thing I didn't like about the Mustang, In 1st or 2nd gear it was fine but when you got to 5th gear there was nothing left and I had a hard time getting it much over 100. There wasn't anything wrong with the engine it ran good just didn't have any top end, but it did have some low end torque.
I can't tell from the picture how big your yard is but I know it takes some work maintaining a lawn like that. You got my respect!

It's a long way to the top if you want to rock n roll!
:D
Thanks.
So, since this got jacked so bad I actually had to rethink and then delete my reply.

Ok, I can't resist. Here's mine. 8)
No, Bish and I didn't call each other and plan what car to buy. Mine isn't a GT anyway.
That guitar and Mustang I registered for about a month ago.
LOL. Great choice in cars, Urb!!! :D

Just thought I'd post my ride. '94 Dodge Caravan, fully-loaded, V-6 power. There used to be a little missing/flaking paint, but then I took it into a car wash and now there's a lotta' missing paint.
Used to be, was a part of me felt like hiding.. but now it comes through. Comes through to you.
I learned to drive stick on a 289 V8 3 speed '66 Mustang. Honestly, it was a POS -- but such a classic experience. Fun times.

My first car was a brown 1975 Mustang II...a period during which I've been told Mustangs weren't real Mustangs.
Ah well, I was 19 and thrilled I no longer had to ask Mom if I could borrow her car. :)

margaret,
I love the Mustang IIs of the 70s. One of my favorite Mustangs of all time is the 1978 King Cobra.
Here's the Mustang II page from my Mustang website that I made a few years back during my web building faze.

Never noticed this before: The the Mustang II shows some Galaxy 500 heritage.

Nice Car Bish.
I can honestly say that the fastest time I have ever run the quarter mile was in a Mustang-a 96 GT running a 12.6 at around 100 mph. It was a rush. I highly recommend bracket racing or hobby class drag racing if you're looking for something to do.
Also, no offence cnev, but isn't a Z34 a type of Cavalier? :P
Ewan McGregor: I said, "Eve, I want you to look after my wedding ring while I'm away," and she started to cry and I said, "Eve. Eve, I can't wear my ring or I won't get laid on the trip!"
