I just saw this neat little version of this guy doing slap acoustic on the Backstreet Boys' "I Want it That Way"...dunno if you guys have seen it before, I might upload it later on.
But just wondering if there are any resources on slap acoustic guitar? It seems pretty interesting and I did a quick google and didn't really come up with any instructional sites or anything on the subject for that matter.
Can any of you help me out?

I think the technique is quite similar to slap bass. the way I aply it it is anyways so any results on slapp bass would work.
I've always wanted to learn how to slap-strum a guitar. My mate can do it and it sounds amazing. I've tried it, and to be honest I just don't have the knack. Also, I always feel guilty doing that to my pride and joy. Would still love to do it though, even if it's in a 'gentle' way. It is a really nice sound.
