some help please

ok, so im applying to o to this music school its a year full time course and i have to do a audition to get in i need to do a scale in major and mionor which i allready know but i have to do two solo's for 1-2 mins and they have to be in diffrent styles the solos i do are all improvised and im pretty sure i only have 1 style the only other solo i know is a blues one that goes for 30 secs so if anybody has some tabs for thoughs solos? thanks dan :D

Do you play any fingerstyle? If you do, then perhaps you could do a classical fingerstyle piece, or maybe a rag-time solo. For some grate graded fingerstyle scores check out http://www.guitares.net ; it's some great stuff. The only downside is that it's not TAB; it's all standard notation. I know a lot of them are pretty challenging, but if you don't do fingerstyle them maybe a chord-melody solo guitar arrangment of a jazz piece would fit the bill. Just throwing out ideas. Best of luck with that though! Let us know how it goes.
