Topic starter

hi all.

I know David Hodge's answer to this thread "all of them"....but seriously can anyone give a few songs that really sound good on 12 string guitar.

Apologies if this has been asked before. I have just taken delivery of a 12 string and want to give it a workout!

Thanks in advance for any replies

Matt

Everything that comes to mind is pretty old. But anyway, some suggestions:

Real Oldies

Love the One You're With (CSN)
Here Comes the Sun (Beatles)
Story in Your Eyes (Moody Blues)
8 Miles High (Byrds) -- Heck, anything by the Byrds!
Mr Tabourine Man (Dylan, Byrds)
Help (Beatles)
Me 'n' Julio (Simon)
Ventura Highway (America)
Pinball Wizard (The Who)
Brain Damage Pink Floyd

A Little Newer

Free Fallin' (TP & HB)
Pete Yorn tunes

-=tension & release=-

The Song Remains The Same - Led Zeppelin

I dunno if you've got an electric or not. Or how it'll translate to accoustic.
