Right after she said I could buy the guitar I told her she could by the $500 electric fireplace she'd been wanting that I was dragging my feet on. She's on her way to the store as I type.

Just unpacked mine and plugged it in for a quick test. Sounds pretty good through a Blues Jr. with a Bad Monkey. Now if I just knew how to play something.
After hearing that some of the blondes came with a white pickguard I was a little apprehensive about opening it up but the pickguard was black just like I wanted. Everything appears to be in order, but the strings will have to go. This will be my first restringing.
