i find myself in many drunken situations when my friends want me to play and i have no pick available
i have used creditcards, coins, but last night it hit the high spot when i used a dried up skin to a clementine
was thinking there are some pretty strange things that can be used as a pick, what have you guys used
A cardboard cutout pick. Absolutely riddiculous :D :D ! It works though!
It does its job for a song or so.

A spoon, cardboard, pen lid, coins, my teeth/tongue (NOT pleaseant! Was a party trick)
As i have said 100s of times in pick discussions that i don't use a pick at all so i am pickless and pickyfree
A baloney sandwich: Holsum white bread, OM baloney, no mustard or mayo. It was more or less just 'patting' the strings.
I also experimented with a plastic soup ladle trying to cop a part in a Benatar song our band was covering back in '84. It was to get a 'bouncing' percussive sound. I never got it down enough to actually play live though; it was pretty tricky.

#4491....
floppy disk cover, you know, the little black piece that slides back and forth. It actually has quite a nice sound to it, jack j songs sound real nice with it
A cigarette packet
A nail clipping..........

In a pinch I've actually used my soul.
I pity the fool, but also suggest ways he might better himself.
My nose, a dime, and a soda pop can top.

Everything is 42..... again.
A piece of bone and the "standard" odd item, a dime.
Guitarin' isn't a job, so don't make it one.
Shrinky dinks
My fingers! Ew, that was weird!
Do something you love and you'll never work a day in your life...
I just act like the tip of my index finger is my pick, and I hold it between my thumb and middle finger. Then pick pick pick away!
