Well I got this baby last night:
It has the maple neck and the S-1 swith for the Humbucks. Wow the sounds I was pulling from this thing. Very Very cool.
I don't know what's more exciting, the fact that I'm a proud new owner of an Amercian Strat or proud of my Horse trading skills. ( I traded in my LTD F-100 and my Kustom DX16 on the deal). Which knocked the asking price down by half.

Yeah and it really is. On first glimpse I'd say Hmm ok Silver, but taking a second look, its actually an awesome color up close. It seems to have some depth to it.
I'm thinking of getting a white pearloid pick guard for it.

Oh yeah I'll get some Pics when I get the pick guard on their. It should come next week. I think the white pearloid will look cool.
Why this weekend? Well I'm mostly busy the next few evenings, so I won't be able to get some real TIME with her till then. I did get a about an hour and half last night.. whoa this thing plays so fast.
I don't know if its the Guitar or I'm just just getting better. Its probably a bit of both. I've been working on Floyd's Brain Damage a lot and the chords just seems to flow together real nice.

I like those colors. I even like the black pickguard. I've been thinking of replacing the white pickguard and dials on my blue Strat with black.
Have lots of fun. The American Strat is a great guitar.
