Korn Tuning sounds like something you might want to have a doctor remove

Chuck Norris invented Kentucky Fried Chicken's famous secret recipe, with eleven herbs and spices. But nobody ever mentions the twelfth ingredient: Fear!

They are all my favorite, otherwise I wouldn't have them.

The one that always amazes me is my Collings OM1A.
For ease of playing and warm cedar tone, Fylde Orsino.
For beauty and clarity, the Breedlove Northwest.
For just noodling around in alternate tunings, the Seagull Artist Folk
The best knockabout, the Washburn D-25s
The best fingerpicker - Martin 000-16SRGT

my favourate is my yamaha fg411 black finish accoustic. I got her used and in bad condition... i set her up real nice looks and plays much better.
absolutely in love with that guitar named her angela.
My second favourate is my first guitar... at one point in time... was a peavy raptor International... but i modded her out with a floyd, a locknut, and humbuckers... EMG in the bridge...Seymour duncan in the mid and Dmarzio in the neck. I wanted to put on a coil tap but too much work. the outputs of the pups matched surprisingly well, i dont remember the series of pups all i remember is the dmarzio was a PAF pro and they're all hi-output passive pups. her name's nikki... is good for lead playing...

i sold my classical because i was hurting for money real bad... i miss her...

no amp it blew up while at a jam.

Yamaha Pacifica 112.

I have owned other guitars; a Squier Strat and an Epi Les Paul. I currently also own a Shine SIL-510. I have played other people's guitars; a friend has a MiA Strat and I once had a quick tinkle on a Gibson Blueshawk. That's not to mention all the guitars I have briefly played in guitar shops.

None have persuaded me to replace the Yamaha, and it cost less than £200. Amazing!

I'm not trying to suggest it's the best guitar ever made or anything, but IMO you'd have to spend a hell of a lot of money to get something better. I borrowed some kind of Special Edition MiA Tele for a jam the other day for example, which was sweet almost beyond words.
However, it costs around £1000! I spent the whole time worrying I would break it!!!!

Acoustic electric -- Alvarez rd20sc (Alvarez makes great reasonably priced acoustics)

I also have an Alavarez ASG2AB electric, a fat strat type that I like a whole bunch and a Washburn WI-64 which is a fantastic electric in the Gibson SG mold.

Well my favorite is my Gibson Les Paul Standard.

It cost me right about $2200. Alot of money, but in my mind worth every penny.

Whoops! You got ripped off!

If there's one thing I've learned from the Les Paul Forum guys, it's to never buy a Les Paul from GC or Musician's Friend. Most of the time their prices are competitive, but they really jack LP's up. Head to Centre City Music or Wildwood and you won't pay more than 1700 for a new Standard, and it'll come with a great set up.

And 2200? The high street price is 2000 right now anyways, is that including a case or did you get it somewhere where it was even... more ?

Do something you love and you'll never work a day in your life...

Almost excusively acoustic. I do have a 79 Fender USA HM Strat and a 69 Gibson SG, and a Brian Moore MIDI guitar, but I rarely play them.

Maybe this year....
