Ted Greene, author of several really fabulous books, died a few weeks ago. I didn't see any mention of it here.

His obituary is on-line.

"The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side." -- HST

I had no idea he'd passed.

I've had all of his books for more than 20 years, and I'm still studying them and finding new things... he really had a tremendous grasp of the instrument.

I had his book Chord Chemistry many years ago. That is one awesome book. It will show you how to play any chord you could imagine anywhere on the neck.

Somehow I lost that book. I have missed it every since.
