OWA you have an LP now or did I miss something? 8)

I got it back in the summer.

Wow Nick, that's your bare minimum? Hate to see how many you'd have if you let yourself go.

What brand is that? Looks pretty cool with the bullet holes 8) I think our fearless leader has around 16 guitars if I remember correctly. He does his own repair and finds guitars and fixes them up if I'm not mistaken.--ken

It's an Arbor brand, which I have never heard of. I did the bullet holes myself. Never open with a ballad infront of a really really tough crowd..........

if I had a fire running out I would grab those.
apologies to my nice acoustic.

So what would YOU take out of the house if there was a fire? Me, I'd take the fire.....

LOL No, first thought would be the Squier Tele - a millisecond behind that, the SPT acoustic....

Then I'd think about going back for the Mrs....hell, you have to have your priorities right......

I have two guitars, a Fender Telecaster and a Squier '51. I find I play the '51 a lot lately mainly because it's newer and I'm still figuring it out. It's neat to have a different kinda sound coming out of my amp than what I am used to.

I have a Fender Strat MIM that I rarely play cuz I am trying to find the right pups for it.

In order of time played.

Squier 51 Sunburst.

SX SST62 red Strat copy w, pickups(SSS) and wiring from a guitar fetish wired pickguard(NOT GFS pups)

Titan Rockland Strat copy. Coffee brown. HSS. This guitar cost me $53 and its the best deal that I've ever gotten on any musical equipment. I just wish I could let some of you play this guitar. Its awesome.

I have 18 guitars. Lately I've been banging on my Epiphone G400. I rotate them and play most all of them.

I'm more picky.

I play my Dean Hardtail for Neo-Classical Metal stuff, as long as I don't ::need:: a Floyd Rose or any other type of trem. And I also use it for older rock stuff I don't really play anymore, like Led Zeppelin or Ac/Dc.

My Shine Sil70q when it comes to Power Metal. Oh sweet Power Metal.

And my Shine Sil60 for Thrash Metal, MeloDeath etc.

And my acoustic guitar (nicknamed Pancho) for whenever I just want to play to myself.

Of course whenever I need a nice set bridge (like Amon Amarth things) I got back to my beautiful Dean. Or just about anything else I can get away with. I call her Lucy and I love her too much for my own good.

Of course it all varies, lately my Sil60 has been out of action so I've been using the Sil70q for all the Melodic Death Metal sercives.
Just depends on what I'm feeling at the end of the day.

I recently owned a Jackson Fusion Std. that I sold (and regret). A Schecter Damien 6, Washburn wg587 7-string with new Dimarzio pup, and a little travel guitar thingy called a "speedster", or something. The Washburn is my current favorite. Even though its a cheap guitar, i've put a lot of work into it, and the others have been collecting dust.

Man I think you have more guitars than even Nick  I only have 11 and my wife thinks thats about 10 more than I need. But its still lots cheaper than a fishing boat or sports car. :P

if you wish to play more than one style of music, you need to have a selection of guitars to best emulate that variety of tones.
that's why i think everyone should own one or two of each.

I'm in the "different mood, different guitar" camp... two very very different electrics, an electro-acoustic and a 12-string acoustic. And a bass, which kinda counts as the mood thing fits

I told you, bare minimum. Although I did leave out...

The Breedlove passport, for around the campfire
The 1970 Martin D-12-20 for the different but classic sound
The Yamaha silent guitar for travel
The Grammer for that Nashville feel
The Washburn EA-36 for when you don't know if you want acoustic or electric

and electric guitars don't count do they?

Still 18 is a reasonable number of guitars to have.
