And i put my cd, (teach yourself to play guitar) into my faulty windows 98, and i hear a rather loud BANG, i figured i kicked something, or accidently slammed the desk cabbinet. so without much delay, I began my practise...following the tab to La Bamba.

all went as usual, i missed a few notes, blamed the guitar, or the tiempo on the program (couldn't possibly be my fault)
so I go to pop 'Teach yourself to play guitar' out to put in my guitropolise cd, and the drive wont open, i push the button a couple thousand times, d*mning the computure to the fullest.
so finally I get someone else in my house to get to the bottom of it. (I'm not very good at this computure stuff, i get impatient)
SO they open the drive and my cd is in a thousand little peices, half on the floor half still in the tower...

So bish, I guess i don't win this time.

I'm worried about my hunk of junk as it....but that's bad rag_doll_92. You didn't maybe put the CD in wrong? Or maybe the CD/DVD ROM driver in your computer has gone wacky on you. I know my brother's computer made a loud bang before it crashed on him, but being your case it was most likely the computer eating your CD. Yikes!!!

I'm not jinxed, I'm not jinxed, I'm not jinxed!!!

Faulty CD's will explode in CD players. But it is rather rare.

u work with computers?
Thats cool

My 98 system ran bad anyways, but I didn't think it'd go and eat my cd (ESPECIALLY NOT THAT ONE!!!), it's just not something I've ever read about in a computer manual.
