Not that anyone's interested but I have only been in a big music store once, and it had fantastic sound booths. Seeing as I could only play three chords at the time, I was most grateful. Theres a lot of embarrassment for newbies when they go into a shop where good players are strutting their stuff, i am sure it puts a lot of people off.
