Thanks to these forums, I've discovered lots of new music - I found out there's more to music than just classic rock! I now listen to a lot of blues, and some country. I think the artist who I've got most pleasure of listening to since joining GN has been Johnny Cash - for some reason I never took him seriously, he was always a bit below my radar. Now? I've got a few JC CDs - listen to them a LOT!
Someone I'd never heard of before, but who I've grown to appreciate, is Buddy Guy - a few people here are fans, I think it was Rodders, though, who pointed me in that direction.
Doubtless many of us have had the same experience!
