I learned Ten Years Gone by Led Zep before i knew about Page's multitracking. So i thought the main riff was one guitar and had a bit of a time learning it.
Didn't know about tuning half step down, so a lot of sheet music was wrong.
I was so busy trying to learn guitar parts that i didn't notice a different band member was singing. Or many lyrics. To this day i can't tell you what a song means, if i even know the words.
Leslie West did a cover of Dear Prudence and didn't know there were 2 guitars picking so he learned it as 1.
Stuff like this.
