When I die, I want to go peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming......
like the passengers in his car.
Working on a couple of my own songs at the moment - which involves me playing lead, rhythm, keyboards and bass as well as singing and working out a drum pattern.....all takes time to work out and learn before recording....also working on some music for a couple of other people, so not a lot of spare time!!!!
:D :D :D

I just finished Day Tripper a la Tommy Emmanuel (one of the hardest things I've ever done), and am starting on A Taste of Honey from him also. Yup... trying to get that Beatles medley down.
I keep delaying Lady Madonna.. one of these days though..
Well, I've had some requests, but I'm going to play anyway.
"We Are Going to Be Friends"-the White Stripes
"Free Fallin'"-Tom Petty
"Margaritaville"-Jimmy B.
"Let It Be"-The Beatles
Two originals, hopefully soon posted on Hear, Hear
my spot on the Beginner's Jam (Hi, Margaret!)

I've been playing Cemetary Gates by Pantera, and Fade to Black by Metallica. Other than that, I just make up lots of little riffs and try to make them into a song.

I like Tool a lot, but how do you figure out that guys crazy basslines? Some of their time signatures are insane!
