I have a PRS custom 24. I just bought it used and it buzzes only when my volume is off, and goes away as I roll the volume up...but ONLY when I am touching the strings or bridge and such. I haven't seen any posts covering this specific situation. I would greatly appreciate any advice!

buzzing; do you mean a hum sound. that is a ground (earth) issue. is it loud? soft? does the amp buzz?

I have an egnater combo. My american tele and strats do not make this sound when I touch the strings. It is a fairly raw hum if I should call it that. I wish I could post a video. It is greatly amplified by the overdrive channels, but is present in the 2 clean channels. At my practice place I also have an orange (OD) and dumble clone (clean), and they make the same sounds...again my other 3 guitars do not do this (they are all single coil). I use monster pro power conditioner. No pedals, just straight in. Thanks so much for your help.

my best guess is a grounding issue. there is a wire that needs solder.

Yup, sounds like a grounding issue to me too!
