Musiciansfriend.com usually has strings very cheap.

There is also http://www.juststrings.com I think, but have never used them

I tried Webstrings and liked both the strings and price.

I buy Martin strings on eBay. 10 sets for like $25. They are decent strings, not that bad, I enjoy them. Good price. You should check them out.

I've used http://juststrings.com/ and been well pleased with them.

I've been happy with Strings & Beyond

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.

I've just done a quick comparison of prices (on Ernie Ball 9-42s only).
Stringbusters want £3.60 per set for 10 sets + P&P (I couldn't price this as I'm not registered and you only get to see the P&P at the last stage before payment). Total £36 + P&P.
Hotrox want £3.55 per set for 10 sets plus £5 P&P, total £40.50
Strings and Beyond want $4.45 per set for 10 sets + $9.95 P&P Total $54.45 converts to £31.50. Delivery time 5-10 days.
Good price in Germany is €49.95 + €6 P&P total €55.95 converts to £39.
Even though it takes a little longer, buying in the US saves a fair bit of money.

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.

I'll give another webstrings.com vote.

I've ordered from them twice now (around 12 packs of strings) and they ship very fast and are cheap. Yet, they sound fine to my ears as well.

Webstrings for me.

However, someone (maybe it was Ricochet) mentioned that you can put together a custom set inexpensively at juststrings if you buy in bulk. I'm going to try that when I run out of webstrings.

Pick out the gauges you want, and get a dozen of each.
