Hey everyone, its monday night now. Im planning to buy a wah pedal on friday or the weekend and I need everyrone's help and opinion on this. I have listed different wah pedals in my price range. I need you as many of you to vote for one, and to please give me a reason which influenced your choice. Im hoping that dont really psot will, and Id love the help of the regulars on the forums
At this point, im leaning towards the Vox. Many HC reviews say that its got the great tone and (not neccesarily influenced by) its what many people used back in the 60s. Hendrix, Page, Clapton, etc. Also, buying the power supply would make everything way too expensive. For some reason, I also feel more comfortable with vox.
Keep in mind that the wahs range from $89-$105 and the Dunlop pedals with an AC adapter, you have to add an extra $30 for the power supply adapter
Im trying to get as many possible votes. Every opinion counts
Thanks alot to everyone
I'm fond of my Crybaby. It says GCB-95, so I voted for the 95Q, as it seemed closest.
hey black, whats up man, check ebay, i'm bidding on a morley bad horsie2 right now, it has one day to go and the bid is at 30 dollars, this is a 200 dollar wah pedal, hope i get it, but check ebay before you go to the music store, by the way i voted for the vox.
I definetly think you should check morley bad horsie2 out...
How about the Ibanez Weeping Demon?

It's rather new, and I haven't seen any wah pedal from Ibanez before, but the reviews I've read were very positive.
when it comes to quality nothing beats the Vox, its my understanding that the crybabies break easier.
btw anybody have an opinion on the "snarling dog" wah, its got a lot of features.
I pity the fool, but also suggest ways he might better himself.
Go to some stores and try them all out... try to try em out with the same guitar and amp that you have now..

BTW, I voted for the Vox. I've tried three Dunlop models, an Ibanez Weeping Demon, an original Bad Horsie, and a Vox and IMO, the Vox seems to be more natural than all the others.. If you can, try out the Zakk Wylde wah, it seems to be pretty cool! 8)

I just bought the weeping demon yesterday and I have to say I am pretty happy with it. You can really get a wide range of sounds from it. It was $99 at Guitar center plus $12 for the ac adapter so I have to say a pretty good buy.
thanks for the suggestions guys. I said i was leaning toward the vox and so far, so aree you. Im mostly interested in vox/dunlop for that 60s classic sound, I really wnated to stick with those companies
