hey ummm i have a few questions my aunt gave me a vantage electric guitar is vantage good?? and i had to put sum strings on we;; kmow that plate bit that you take of and theres that big chunky metal bit you thread the strings through, got me so far well know its attached by springs :roll: is it ok the springs have came off or have i totaly fucked it i could probley put them back on but it will be hard

Well, they aren't supposed to come loose, but it can be fixed no prob. You better take it to the store you bought it from and ask if they can quickly put it back and explain the basics to you. As for vantage: it is a relatively cheap brand from Asia, but fine instruments come from the weirdest places these days. I'm sure you'll have lots of fun with it. 8)
