For me it was Greensleeves/What Child is this. I play it hybrid pick style. I play the bass notes with my pick held between the thumb and forefinger and play the rest of the notes with my other fingers. It works for me

Going to California. Good intro to open G as well

"Contrary to popular belief, Clapton is NOT God. The prospect that he is God probably had a large hand in driving him to drugs and booze. Thanks everyone."

Blind Lemon Pie:

I just tried that one this morning with a simple " TIMR" to start. What pattern do you use?

"Scarborough Fair", the version in my lesson book, not the one of David's.

I have no idea what my first finger-picked song was, its pretty much all I play though really. My favourite non original would have to be "It Dosen't Matter Anymore" by Eva Cassidy. It's one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.

Vacate is the word...Vengance has no place on me or her...Cannot find a comfort in this world.

I'm currently learning Tears in Heaven by Eric Clapton.

My wife paid me a compliment this week by asking which Clapton song that was :D

Holiday - Scorpions
Stairway to Heaven - Led Zep (got it all but the solo...)

A sucking chest wound is Nature's way of telling you to slow down.

Godin Freeway Classic, PodXT Live, Seymour-Duncan 84-50.
(All this so I could learn 'Twinkle, Twinkle, Little' Star for my youngest.)
