If it makes you feel a little better, when I was your age all I owned was a very cheap acoustic guitar, not nearly as nice as yours. I can't even remember who made it, I don't think it had any name on it.
Don't worry, if you continue to play you will own many nice guitars and amps. :D

I'll post a pic of the LP Studio someday. It's nothing special. It is the black model with chrome hardware. I got it for a very good price used from a fellow musician. It has a few nicks and dings in it, but I really love the tone.

Yeah, I really like my Avatar cab. It sounds great and wasn't very expensive at all. They have all sorts of speaker combinations available. I would recommend Avatar to anybody.

Wow, amazing how long this thread has stayed up! 8) :D
Stairway to Freebird!
Left to right, Crate VC20 amp, Saga LP-style knockoff (paint job by me ;) ), Rogue six-string acoustic / electric, Jay Turser 12-string. Lately, the electric has been getting most of the play time. I really like the sound of the 12-string, but it's sooo much harder to play...

TZ - i'm impressed how did you do that paint job, it looks pretty good.

And all the things you said to me

Thanks. It's a little muffed up in a few places, since it's the first thing I've ever painted and polished like that, but it's just extra character, eh? Transparent amber dye (alcohol-based) rubbed on by hand over the whole top, then orange airbrushed around the edges. Followed by many coats of clear. If you've got a beat-up old axe that could use some fresh life breathed into it, http://www.projectguitar.com has tons of resources that can help you along.
