"I play live as playing dead is harder than it sounds!"
I guess I can post my latest addition to the family.
I wanted something inexpensive to test the waters so I went to my local Music-Go-Round and ran across this little beauty. It was very inexpensive so I'm trying it out over the weekend. If it fits my needs, I'm going to keep it.
With a gig bag it was $150 so I'm not expecting the world but it'll be a good traveler as well.

Its not bad at all, Bish. At 150 $, its a great looking guitar, complete with body and neck binding. Plus it appears to have a decent Pre-Amp as well.
You cannot ask anything more out of the plain 'ol wood. Go play the heck out it until the bridge comes off.
Nice one, Bish.
Congrats and enjoy.

Since its your first guitar in 20 years, I will keep my intentions clean...
That looks like Gibson Dove !
Nice looking Strat Copy too. But your amp is the killer.
@ Beaner: That SA500 is beautiful. Yamaha certainly know how to put a guitar together.

Here is my Godin LG when it was new, since then had the pups changed and the finger board has darkened due to sweaty fingers LOL Great action on these guitars and it made me put my Strat down.

Here are the overwound Pups I fitted on it.-
