Lap steel strings changed and intonation set.
Action reset and intonation on the bass.
Just changed the strings and checked the intonation on the 335.
The Strat got new strings, action lowered and intonation re-set.
The 51 got the neck adjusted slightly, Ernie ball 0.11's, action lowered, and intonation re-set. I'm tuning it 12 step lower..sounds cool :-)
The mando got the bridge repaired (it split so I glued it and clamped it..good as new). New strings. The neck doesn't have a truss rod so I just adjusted the action, plays nice! I used slightly heaver strings and it sounds a bit crisper.
The banjo got new string(slightly heavier gage) I took off the back (resonator) and tightened the skin a bit.
The tele got New strings (E.B. Top heavy 10,s) Re-adjusted the action lots lower. intonation re-set. I had it set up for slide, now it a Nashville twang thang, just needs a B bender. LOL
The Johnson acoustic got a new set of Ernie Ball acoustic strings. I really like them, very crisp with a nice full bottom.
The Blueridge acoustic got a set of D'addario's. I wanted to try them, but I don't think I like them all that much
Not a bad days work! now I'm ready to take on the new year :D
Sounds like you were busy Ken .... or bored. Aint it nice to get all that maintenance out of the way. I enjoy doing it sometimes too.
