Howdy guys,
After a bit of consideration I think I may have to build my own guitar to get what I want.... question is, who do we think makes the best value for money kits? I want REAL non-weight releived (or chambered *shudder*) mahogany body and REAL maple cap (no flames please!), with a mahogany long-tennon neck.
Suggestions?
I'm in AUS but looking at BYOguitar and Bartletts....BIG price differences......

I've heard nothing but good things about Warmoth.

I built one myself, but it was a strat, not an LP. The prices vary depending on what you want, but the options are quite various and the quality is great.

I mean, if you don't mind a bolt-on LP, that is...

Tone is subjective.

Yeah, it would be a set-neck kit, not a bolt-on. :)

Looks interesting, but I don't want a chambered guitar..... if I wanted a chambered guitar I'd buy a Martin lmao.

My bad.

At one time those guys had a non-chambered kit that I was considering. Looks like they revamped the website and trimmed down their offerings.
