Hello all,
I have a Fender Esquire that I'm considering rewiring.
A previous owner has tried to turn it into a Telecaster by adding the neck pickup, but I would like to change it about and try Leo Fenders original idea for a two pickup Esquire:

In this article it talks very generally about changing the resistance value to alter how much bridge pickup is in the mix.
So, my question is how much change in resistance either way will see a useful change in the sound?
How much would be too much, and how much would be not enough to make any appreciable difference?
I'm happy to tinker with this sort of thing and get in there with a soldering iron etc, but really I know next to nothing about electronics and the theory of it all!
Thanks for any help,
Cheers
