Hi guys,

I was wondering if any of you had any advice on how to fix this problem or if it can even be fixed and how much something like this would cost to get fixed professionally.

A while ago I stepped on my electric and snapped the head off right at the nut. Now, it looks to me like I could glue it back on with some sort of extreme wood glue but I'm worried it would just break again in the near future or wouldn't stay in tune properly or a number of other things..

I'll post some pictures of the break:

Any help with this matter would be awesome.

First off - Baron Samedii was the name of my Jazz Band in Boston back in the mid 90s. We were reviewed as the toughest Jazz band in the world.

You should be able to glue and clamp it. You'll want to remove the locking nut and make a cull out of some lengths of wood then clamp it over night with some tight bond II.
