Hi, I was recently cleaning my guitar and heard a rattling noise inside the electronics.
So I unscrewed the wiring compartment in the back of the guitar and found a loose screw inside(i replaced the screw).
I left the guitar on my bench for a few minutes and when I got back it appeared my 3 year old cousin had ripped the wiring to the tone knob clean off!
So I tried to plug it in and play, but it seems that the tone knob is required for the guitar to be played through an amp.
He twisted the tone knob round many times and the actual knob itself is very loose and rattles around(it can be span 360 degrees).

Here is an image showcasing the damage:

Unfortunately, I cannot take the guitar to a guitar technician as the nearest one would be 3 or 4 hours away.
I do own a soldering iron, if that helps!

Thanks in advance.
