How do I go about drilling a hole in the top of my guitar? It's going to be for a mini toggle switch, in between the four Les Paul V/T pots.
I mean, obviousley with a drill bit :) but I don't want to crack my finish or anything! Any suggestions?

Drill from the outside in so the drill first hits the painted surface.
Put masking tape over where you will drill.
Marl on the tape where you want the hole.
First drill a small pilot hole.
Now work your way up to the size for the switch.
