heya all, i wanna find and restore an acoustic guitar, preferrably 50-60's, i would love an old gibson or something but i know i wont ever get it :( i only wanna spend a couple of hundred on the guitar, then restore it over time. what are some good models/brands to look out for? i would love something with the deep rich tones of a gibson, and i dont intend to do it up to sell, but rather to enjoy it myself :)

i have the numbers of a lot of second hand stores around here written down already, and i thought i may try some ... what would they be called (im thinking about in other countries...) like 'lifeline' and 'st vicent de pauls', where the sell old donated stuff for charity, i thought i MAY get luck with finding something....

I've got a number of guitars in a state of disrepair. They are yours for the asking....and the shipping.
