Hey Everyone,

I just got a guitar with my first floating tremelo. It's so fun to play with but a pain to keep in tune. Does anyone have any tips for me?

Thanks! w/

First thing to try is lubricating the nut. Your strings may be binding in the slots. If you can find a piece of graphite, use that. If not, a pencil will do - the softer the better. A pencil lead is not pure graphite, it is a mixture of graphite and clay, which is not a lubricant. The harder the pencil, the higher the clay content. Look for anything with grade "B". The higher the number (highest is 9B) the higher the graphite content.

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
