I recently had a new jack socket installed, the type with the two prongs (excuse my technical wizardry!), not just the one. The brand was a good one, can't remember the name but as I understand they're pretty much industry standard. I'm wondering if this is the reason my Carvin DC200 won't turn down at all, it remains on full volume. Or will this definitely be a volume pot issue? Tried to post a pic, but can't seem to, haha . . .

Any help would be appreciated, thanks guys!]

def not the jack. 99% sure that's the pot.

JSYK you should have your pots up all the way all the time anyway. It gives the amp the full signal so the amp can process your signal correctly.

IMO leave it unless something causes no sound.
