Hi, I spend most of my time in Africa, up to 2 years at a time. To avoid the hassle of airline travel with guitars I bought a nice, cheap, but really nice Washburn a/e.
How to store it? I have two options.
1) Remove strings, oil it up good, and leave it at the mercy of a close relation who may or may not take care of it the way I would... but I'm pretty sure it would come through ok.
2) Leave it with a guitar-playing friend who would keep it in his office in a church, where it would be taken care of and played occasionally.
Which would people advise? Neither is a guaranteed situation but they're the best I have right now. Thanks!

#2 would get My vote.
Good luck.

Thanks, Steve6. That's the way I'm leaning.
