Guitar synth sounding problem

Recently since I’ve been wanting to change my tone I’ve gravitated towards using my epiphone sg, but as time has gone on I realized this it isn’t quite right. the high end with the high string seems fine but the low strings are almost doing a octa fuzz synth thing by theirself in a clean channel. Could this be electronic issue or a amp problem, because I’ve looked at demos my guitar and it deffinetly isn’t supposed to like how it is right now. By the way my sg is a epiphone special edition, any thoughts?
