I own a Ephiphone les paul studio model, and from the day I got it, I have had trouble with the treble humbucker. Whenever I make a sudden jerk, or move the guitar fast, the treble pickup almost cuts out, decreases in volume tremendously, sounds thin, and nullifies any effects I might have on it. Usually swinging it fast fixes it though. Does anyone know why this might be?

Sounds like a loose wire or a hot wire too close to a ground wire inadvertently sending signal to ground. Open 'er up and see if there's anything obvious.

Well there is a loose off-white wire that I think should go to the treble volume pot. I don't know what that means though. I am guitarded when it comes to wiring.

To the volume pot. I figured it out by looking at a diagram and got that baby resoldered. Haven't had trouble yet, and even slung it around really hard (thank God for locking strap holders). Thanks for the help.
