The two wires that are supposed to be connected to the input jack of my fender squier bass became disconnected somehow. What type of adhesive do I use to reconnect them? Also, the wires seem a little short so I may need to replace them; what type of wire do I get?

I believe you have to solder the wires to the input jack.

Most likely they "somehow became disconnected" when the jack loosened and rotated. When you get the wires properly soldered, reinstall the jack using some blue LocTite on the nut. Then, always run your cable from behind between the guitar body and strap, then turn it around and plug it in. Never let it just hang from the jack, that's what caused the problem in the first place.
