Are you sure that it's a crack and not a scratch?

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?

yeah, that looks like a scratch. scratches show up white and cracks are dark.
it is unlikely to experience a crack when you humidify. that would be a hard place to crack from a bump, as it is near an edge which by nature is stronger than a flatter middle.

I really wish it was a scratch but its either a finish crack or a real crack. when I ran my finger nail over it I feel the bump.

then it is time to have it looked at. is there a luthier in your area?

considering its location and the fact that it goes with the grain, it seems that you could fix it yourself. it also seems to be pretty stable...i don't think it would separate or elongate unless exposed to extreme temperatures or something along those lines. if you keep it humidified and take care of it, it shouldn't get worse.

btw, beautiful guitar

Shine a flashlight inside the guitar, and look from the back?
Do you see light coming thru? If not, then it's probably just a finish crack.
If you see light thru the crack, then it's more serious.

Hey all, Thanks for your replies. Well I took it to my luthier and he said not to worry and that is a finish check (crack in finish) I also did the light test and could not see any light shinning through the crack So I guess I will see how it goes from here. Thanks again
