The neck pick up on my brand new epiphone sg pro is extremely quiet compared to the bridge pick up. I will have my amp turned all the way up and it will still be quiet. Volume and tone knobs work for both pickups. With distortion it sounds almost clean, as if the volume knob was turned almost to 0. I'm very worried because its brand new. Anyways to fix it myself, or is it best to take it to a professional?
If it's brand new, surely it'll still be under warranty from the shop where you bought it and they'll fix or replace it for free. Anything you do yourself will instantly invalidate your warranty.
