1. Is it possible to put these 3 together?

2. on this site: http://www.bestguitarparts.com/guitar-part/178/DiMarzio%C2%AE_EJ_Custom%E2%84%A2_Bridge_Guitar_Humbucker_Pickup.htm
it says to choose between f-spaced and standard...which one does my stein take?

3. "wiring an HS-2â„¢ for single coil operation produces an incredible vintage tone." How do you do that?

Hopefully someone knows a lot about pickups...thanks.

What is the reason you want to change pickups? I ask this every time when folks are spending money on pickups without analyzing their signal chain first. On my journey for tone I realized that my signal chain from beginning to end needed to be thought over and visualized. Through experimenting with different signal chains I came to the realization that what I needed to achieve the tone was right here the whole time. The equipment was only apart of it, in reality it was coming from inside of me the equipment only allowed me a way to transform this for others to hear and enjoy.

The signal chain included an all tube amp, equalizer, and attenuator. This setup allows me to plug any stock guitar with stock pickups in and still achieve that highly sought after overdriven cranked rock guitar tone at any volume level. Look at the signal chains of many top guitarists, what do you notice other than the guitars, equipment brand names and effects they choose to use do they have most in common?

What it comes down to is changing the pickups may not give you the results you hoped to achieve. Installing hot rod pickups and playing through a small solid-state practice amp you may not notice any difference. I know this isn't the answer you requested, hopefully it will help you on your quest for tone.

Although, I am currently replacing the Pickups in My Fender Toronado, I agree with Forrock. I hear about or read about a lot of people not liking their stock pick-ups, but for the most part, I have never had too many problems with stock pick-ups. Now, I can hear a tonal difference between my Toronado and the new ones, but I'm not sure if it's because they changed the bridge, the pick-ups, or the wood. They changed all of those things from my year model to the new one. Is it a combination of those things or just one of them? I agree with Forrock, one can achieve different tonal qualitiies through equalization and though I am no expert on tube amps, I know they are reknown for giving a great warmth to your tone. I've heard his tone from previous samples and, he has a great tone. It's all subjective, anyway.

To answer your questions, I don't think you would have any problem putting those P-U's in your guitar, and hopefully the output would not be that great of a difference when changing from one to another Pick-up (that being, one is really louder than the others).

It is a small world for metal fanatics. I welcome you fellow musicians, especially the metalheads!
