Pickups sound less fat

Hi... I've had the same pickups in my PRS and fender also placed in my Gibson classic and when they are in the les Paul the tone is much less fat and lower in volume... I have to turn up the volume when I plug my les Paul in after the PRS was in. This has occurred with two sets of pickups already. The tone itself sounds good.

Someone had said a capacitor could be the issue? Or perhaps it's simply the thicker guitar?

you should mention if the pickup is single coil or humbucker. 250k pots are typically used for single coil. 500k is for humbuckers.
if you put a single coil in a guitar wired for humbuckers you will lose output. maybe this is the problem?

Hi... No, I have PRS Humbuckers installed in the les Paul... I also don't actually use the tone knob where the capacitor is connected.
