I was watching a video the other day and noticed that the banjo had a single coil pup under the skin in the neck position. I have an old strat pup and strat volume control. I want to keep this simple so I think I will go with just a volume control. I'm thinking that it would be easy to attach the ground to the rim. The rim connects to the string holder. The pup has two wires (one white and one black). Can anyone suggest a simple wiring diagram? When it comes to electrical stuff I'm about as dumb as a box of rocks

Thanks

scroll down to strat diagrams then look for one pickup and volume ...it is a pretty simple set up.
