Hey guys, new to the forum.

I recently picked up a Silvertone 1454 http://harmony.demont.net/model.php?id=689 shell off of ebay pretty cheap, it looks to be in great shape but someone has gone and stripped out all the hardware.

My aim is to rebuild it, but not necessarily to restore it to its original shape, I am pretty sure I would not be able to get the original parts, so I would like to install updated hardware in it.

I was thinking of the TV Jones Powertron plus pickups, but I have a couple problems, first of all I don't know what kind of mount to get for the pickups to make them fit this body without modding it, and second I don't know what kind of pickup to get for the middle pickup.

There are examples of two-humbucker wiring all over the place and there are humbuckers designed for the bridge and neck positions, I have yet to find one for the middle position, so I'm not sure what to put in there. Any ideas?

Hey, John :D

If it were me, I'd go with some sort of Gold Foil pup - Like it originally came with.
