Hi all, I have a problem...yesterday my young brother fell on my guitar and put a nice big scratch down tthe body :x ...I was wondering if there was any way of getting rid of it. Its not a deep scratch; just noticeable on the surface.

Thanks
Alex

Meguiar's Scratch X might work.

The way I look at it is, your guitar now has a little more character.

I say leave it and be proud.

Couple more options. " Duraglit " and " Body Gloss 65 "

Thanks for your quick and helpful replies. I'll have to go out and buy one of those products...obviously charging my brother for the expense

Thanks
Alex

I tried the duraglit since we already had some in the cupboard and to my surprise it worked! (it was for brass and copper but seemed to cover up the scratch on my black guitar)

Thanks
Alex

Well, look at the bright side. You got your first scratch and now you can sleep at night without worrying about it.
