Hi!
So, I've been playing for a while (eight years) and I realized I shifted countries (lol). Big story short I can't afford a real technician anymore so I'm on my own.
So, my intonation is off and after watching some videos, I did start to get some results.
But I've got questions,
1. Is it necessary for my intonation to be spot on? I realize a trained ear can pick up the difference but I don't think I can achieve perfect intonation with how I'm going. It's taking a lot of screwing
2. I'm running out of screw space on bass and spring on my extended range 9 string (don't ask me why I got a 9) guitar, what do I do? Is there a way to reset it somehow?
3. I was thinking of getting longer screws, would that help? Don't want to experiment until I'm sure someone has done this before.
Additional Information : My bass has the same bridge as this http://www.ibanez.com/products/u_eb_detail18.php?year=2018&cat_id=2&series_id=51&data_id=122&color=CL01

I'm genuinely lost and I need my instrument to be at their best, any help in any direction would be amazing,
Thanks in advance!
