Hi Guys

I have an SX strat guitar, exactly like a fender strat. I am looking for a pickup selector switch for it. Will it be the same as that of a fender? Will that work for an SX guitar also?

It is similar to this but has a rosewood fretboard

Also does anyone know any site where guitar parts can be purchased?
Thanks for any help

You mean like this?

http://www.guitarfetish.com/Strat-5-Way-Switch-with-Screws-EZ-Diagram_p_704.html

I have an SX Strat identical to the one in the picture you posted. I totally rebuilt mine with parts from this site.

This is a pic of it with my "real" Strat.

I changed the tuning keys, replaced the bridge and trem block, all new electronics and pickups and recently put some chrome knobs on it. The neck and body are origional though as well as the pick guard.

Pretty much got them all there. Good prices and pretty good quality. A lot of bang for the buck. That pickup is their version of the one on the white Fender strat in the picture. The one on the Fender is a Seymour Duncan HotRail. It is a full humbucker shrunk down to fit the Strat's single coil slot. It cost me $90, the one in the SX cost me $25 and it is very close in quality. It's called a Lil Killer.

Hello sir

This is my SX guitar

http://profile.ultimate-guitar.com/sanjeev+george/pictures/gear/869617/869619

I want to get new potentiometers and wires with a new pickup selector switch for it.
Can you give me a link to these parts on the same site you recommended above(guitarfetish)? I searched but couldn't find.

Thanks

Right, so it's a Strat and you want bits bits for it. It really didn't take long to find:

Generally speaking the electronics are pretty universal. Bridges can be a bit different along with necks.
